The Race is a Struggle Worth the Effort

The final days leading up to Christmas can be exhausting, especially when we skip from store to store and holiday party to holiday party. But the race to be with God in Heaven is a race worthy of the journey. Our Old Testament ancestors struggled and never witnessed the Promised Land. We will struggle in the race, just as Abraham and the Prophets, and be rewarded by God. Don’t let Christmas pass by without struggling to finish the race. Engage the final days and hours leading up to the Feast of Christmas with prayer and fasting. Consider it a gift to the Lord.
