01/25/13 HON Trust In God Comes With Relationship

This Hour One Nugget from 1st Peter 2:7 continues with the cornerstone which was rejected by builders, but honored by God. Peter tells us that if we trust Him we recognize the honor God has bestowed on this Cornerstone of His temple, Christ Jesus. David talks to us about being able to trust in God completely and we learn that this trust does not come from just 'believing' in God. Trust only comes with relationship. We have to get to know just Who our Father really is and just how much He loves us. We are also reminded of the total rejection Jesus experienced here on earth.....rejected by all.
