David's Daily Devotional continues in Psalm 145:16 where we see that the Lord's open hand brings satisfaction of thirst and hunger for all living things. David explains that this is not just physical food but spiritual food as well. The Bible...the inspired Word of God....the Bread of Life. David reminds us of the necessity of not just listening to others but of reading the Word for ourselves and gives some pointers on how to go about this...by asking and allowing the Holy Spirit to illuminate the Word for us in a personal way.
