02/13/13 DDD Call On The Lord

Today in David's Daily Devotional we look at Psalm 145:18. We read that the Lord is close to ALL who call on Him in truth. This particular Psalm is one of pure praise and worship and King David asks for nothing, but we know he often found himself in the miry pit where he felt alone and distant from God. He is telling us here that if and when we call of the Lord, He will be close to us. David Aldous reminds us that it also says we must call of God in truth...from a place of honesty.
