Father Anthony reflects on the abdication of Pope Benedict XVI and reflects on then Cardinal Ratzinger's radio pronouncements 40 years ago on the future of the Church, a church that is simpler, smaller and more faithful. We note that the Church is in a state of purgation. The Church is always in need of renewal.
