04/10/13 HON Keep Your Conscience Clear

Today's Hour One Nugget continues with 1st Peter 3, verse 16. 16 But do this in a gentle and respectful way. Keep your conscience clear. Then if people speak against you, they will be ashamed when they see what a good life you live because you belong to Christ. David speaks to us about keeping feelings of guilt at bay....having a clear conscience. He reminds us that when we repent, our sins are forgiven and the Lord then forgets those sins. It is the evil one who then tries to continue making us feel guilty.  We learn about the need to be Spirit led and not doing more harm than good.
