That Guy’s Mom: Episode #80 PAIN FUELS PASSION

"That Guy's Mom" radio show originated with the prayerful goal to be a tool that encourages people towards their faith--and to provide testimony of how one stays afloat with Christ as their anchor during the trying times in their life.  As the body of Christ, when one member is hurt, we should all feel the pain.  Our Lord commands us to "rejoice with those who rejoice; and mourn with those who mourn" (Romans 12:15).    On today's show we will discuss news of the heart breaking suicide of Matthew Warren, youngest son of Pastor Rick Warren, who authored the New York Times best seller "The Purpose Driven Life."  Pastor Scott and Andrea will explore questions of God's sovereignty in all that happens to us; how important it is to not judge other people; how to respond to haters; the stigma of mental illness; and ultimately how to keep going in the darkness of pain.
