Real Estate Investment - Safe Act

2013-05-10
In Real Estate Investing, Safe Act is a federal law that was put into place to regulate mortgage lenders and brokers. According to safe act, if an individual is selling their house and if its not their primary residence then they must be a licensed mortgage loan broker to be able to sell that property with seller financing. In Real Estate Investment, safe act implies that if it is a real property or property you had for long or if you are selling with seller financing, you should be licensed.
