05/07/13 DDD Character of Jesus Part 2--Joy

Why are we looking at the characteristics of Jesus? Because we want to be more like Him! Today we look at Joy. In John 15:10-11 Jesus tells us:  10 When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. 11 I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow! David answers the question of how we get joy. We also learn more about being 'filled with the Spirit'....to overflowing.
