Episode # 652 - Turning To God In Tragic Times

Father Anthony, joined by Christina and Tony today open up the show first on the Oklahoma Tornadoes that struck yesterday and last night and the concept of bringing comfort to those who have lost much in these natural disasters.  The concept changes a bit when it focuses on turning toward God in these times for those who have lost much during the first Tornadoes and to those who have suffered and are suffering and why it's important to turn to God , that it's important to have a relationship with Him, and that God is aware of what is going on and He loves us.  Suffering is a part of life is talked about on this and how through suffering, we only can get stronger and wiser.  After the first break, with the idea/topic of tragedy going on today, Father Anthony talks more on how with dealing with tragedy, we never lose our faith and we become stronger.  Father Anthony also shares some readings that relate to this idea of suffering and tragedy.  The final thoughts on the show deal with enforcing that people should keep faith in God during these times of suffering and He will help us.
