Episode # 664 - What Is Going On In The World?

Father Anthony is back, along with Christina, Gerri, and Tony on this rainy summer day.  Everyone seems to be a bit down due to the rain and especially the traffic today that seems to be longer than usual.  But today is also the start of the Taste Of St Stans Carnival at 5 P.M. this afternoon, but hopefully it will run today cause of the rain today.  On a more serious subject, the government is talked about and so much going on with different areas, such as Verizon Wireless.  It seems that many US citizens are under suspension because of data from various areas like Verizon Wireless and the IRS with gathering information.  The main question asked by everyone is "What is going on?"  and everyone tries to figure it out today in this discussion.  Along these lines comes up the topic of baby boomers and how they are killing themselves at an alarming rate and this is discussed after the first break, especially what each generation is and what generation everyone is from or in and the differences about each generation are talked about, particularly Generation X, Y, and Z.  "Why are baby boomers killing themselves?" is asked and opinions are shared, as well as stories about Baby Boomers.  Since the topic of Baby Boomers is still on track and generations, Gerri shares some personal history of her and her generation, as well as more on the differences between the generations.
