Episode # 665 - Memories and Reflections

Father Anthony, along with Christina, Gerri, and Tony are all excited on this Friday, for the Carnival has begun, sunny out and because of all this excitement, everyone is in great spirits today and the show opens up with talk of Carnivals and Carnival memories, especially from Father Anthony talking about food, fun, rides, and thrills.  Reflections are made on yesterday's show and how it was a downer for everyone in terms of subject matter and depressing, talking about generations, the differences in times, the suicides of Baby Boomers, and how society is changing and has changed.  The Dark, Gloomy, Depressing are choice of topic again today for a moment and how we all deal with this in life and face it.  Good news is, The Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus today and that is good today, as well as the various events besides the Taste of St. Stans taking place.  Father Anthony talks about the Pope speaking to children today, specifically, Albanian and Italian, with a five page speech, but how he summed it up and sent a text out.  More on the Pope's speech, how he had children ask him questions.  Father Anthony shares a bit on Matt Burk, a retired Baltimore Ravens coach, who won the Super Bowl last year and talks about a recent speech from President Obama on Planned Parenthood.
