Mass protests by hundreds of thousands in Brazil force a rollback on public transportation hikes, but the battle’s only just begun, says the student-led movement.
The right-leaning Californians for Population Stabilization (CAPS), an anti-immigration-reform group, has mounted a media campaign in Florida targeting U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio. As one of the “Gang of Eight” driving immigration-reform legislation, he’s supporting an influx of foreigners who will take jobs away from American workers, CAPS says.
Meanwhile, President Obama continues to wobble on critical issues, chief among them the economy.
