Episode # 680 - Celebration And Concern

Father Anthony is back, along with Christina, Gerri, and Tony and everyone is aware that about or over 2 million people (many fans) are celebrating the Chicago  Blackhawks Parade today in Downtown Chicago and everyone is celebrating the 2013 Stanley Cup win for the Chicago Blackhawks on Monday and feeling very good today for the Blackhawks once again being the Stanley Cup Champions.  Everyone talks about briefly their feelings on sports due to this celebration, aside from the violence and corruption.  Good news today is Father Anthony reminds everyone that today is a day of fasting and penance.  The bad news for today is the whole idea of bad news going on in America and everywhere, dealing with corruption, evil, lies, and other negative things around us in the world.  Defending of Our Faith is brought up along these lines of things going on in the world and also relates to the hot topic today of the Supreme Court Rulings on Same Sex/Gay Marriage, changing the definition of marriage and idea of marriage.  The discussion of Good and Evil is also raised along with this discussion, as well as mentioning the Gospel.
