Episode # 684 - Daughters Of St. Paul

Please note: This is a rebroadcast of June 27, 2013 and will air tomorrow on the 4th of July 4th of July Show: Special Guest Hostess, Sister Anne Flanagan of The Daughters of St Paul is out host today, along with Christina and Tony today and Sister Anne feels right at home today once again being able to sit in for Father Anthony Bush.  The talk of summer and summer activities going on, as well as in Chicago, are talked about and Sister Anne is going to be at a retreat this summer until September.  Congratulations go out to our own Chicago Blackhawks, that their victory parade is going on tomorrow.  The major focus at the beginning of the show is the Supreme Court Rulings on Same Sex Marriage and how the Church has responded to these rulings.  Sister Anne also has some very beautiful songs for us today from the album Sing Your Praise, all sung by the Daughters of St. Paul, as well as talking about her book, and The Daughters of St. Paul and what they support, help, and provide for.  Books and summer reading is a topic of discussion, Sister Anne sharing some very influential titles.  Also, the weekend is talked about with upcoming events and the Eric Genuis Concert.
