07/08/13 DDD The Character of Jesus Part 31--Thoughtfulness

Today on David's Daily Devotional, we look at part 31 of  The Character Of Jesus as we look into His thoughtfulness. We begin with Philippians 2:3-5. 3 Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. 4 Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. 5 You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. As David looks into these verses, one of the things we see is that we are not to throw away our own interests. We are to take an interest in others as well as looking after our own interests...if those things are God's will and His plan for us. We are not to be egotistical and selfish in this. We are to be humble and thoughtful as we take on the characteristics of our Lord.
