Episode # 698 - History Lessons From John Adams

Father Koys is in again today, along with Christina and Tony, going back into American History once again today.  The show begins again today with a prayer for our country.  Today's topic in history is along the lines of The Declaration of Independence and Thomas Jefferson, as well as John Adams.  John Adams is the main focus of discussion today and why he isn't as popular as other historical figures, while popularity grew with others, such as George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, and his reputation in history is talked about from his family to his influence on people, and audio clips from a movie about him are shared with listeners to show what kind of a man and political figure he was.  The discussion relates to the Pope's visit to Brazil this week too.  Along with John Adams with looking back in history, Boston is brought up with the Boston Massacre and Boston Tea Party.
