The Power of Evil

To enable us to have free choice and reach higher spiritual levels OUR CREATOR THE HOLY ONE BLESSED BE HE in HIS wisdom created the power of evil. This power is known by different names in Jewish tradition but the mission of all the forces of evil is to trip us up and cause our spiritual fall and eventual eternal destruction. The power of evil is so deeply embedded within our psyche to the point that we are able to rationalize our actions to the point where we lose our consciences. The struggle to overcome evil is rewarded tremendously in the next world (Olam Haba)
