TGIF today everyone as Father Anthony, Christina, Gerri, and Tony talk
about how wonderful a day it is out today Friday, but tired out from
everything this week, and all is good. A weird feeling is that it is
hard to believe that August is here and kids/teenagers/college students
are getting ready (or almost) getting ready to go back to school and
summer ends. Disney is first talked about on this Friday. Since school
will be starting back up soon, the topic of discussion is how
teaching, schools, and education has changed over the years, in terms
of what everyone had to learn, such as chalk boards changed to
overheads changed to computer power point presentations. On a
different not, the topic of gay marriage is discussed a bit and also
more on Pope Francis too. Along these lines, the topic the statement
"I'm Catholic, but..." comes up and Father Anthony shares examples of
what people say in terms of that they believe in God and follow
Catholic traditions, but what they might be or are against within the
Church. The concept of good and bad is brought up to wrap up today's
show and Father Anthony leaves us with the thought of what it means to
be Catholic.
