-I get many emails asking my personal ideas on sure thing start-up businesses with minimal capital outlay. Many of these emails come from stateside teachers who want to teach English a while, then after settling in eventually get into some kind of business. But what kind of business might they be suited for? Well for them I say, why not do what you know best? Do come down and teach a while then start your very own small private school. Many many gringos have done just that, and very successfully.  I know gringos who started very small schools with just a hand full of students and because they had the ‘gringo advantage’ the business grew and grew!
