Episode # 727 - Conflict In Syria

One this day after Labor Day and second day in September, Father Anthony is back, along with Christina, Gerri, and Tony and the opening topic is how everyone had a great weekend, since it was Labor Day Weekend and everyone shares their memories from yesterday.  Also, the main topic of discussion, as it is in the news, is the current Conflict in Syria and how Civil War is going on there and the issue accompanying this issue is  the note that the United States may or may not get involved in this.  During this crisis, people/refugees are leaving Syria due to the fighting, while along these lines everyone shares the fact about hope and faith being around in confrontations, wars, and fighting.  Discussions arise with what the Pope has talked about on this conflict and what we must do as a people in this difficult time.  There can be no peace, without God.  A reading is brought up on this from mass this morning too from St. Paul concerning this.  More history is shared along this lines with the current situation in Syria going on and stories too related to this conflict as well and why we go to God, Jesus, and The Virgin Mother Mary as well in our troubled times like this.
