We still apologize for the technical and computer problems, but this is the show for 9/11/13:
Father Koys is in for Father Anthony Bush today as usual for Wednesdays, and today is a very infamous day that ranks up there with December 7, 1941, for today is September 11th and the anniversary of the terrorist attacks that occurred in New York in 2001. We pay tribute today and respects to those who helped and gave their lives in rescuing people and helping and the heroes during that fateful day. The question raised as well is “Where were you on September 11th?” as well today. Everyone shares their feelings about that sad, bad day and old wounds that have healed have been looked at again. Various radio/tv news clips are shared to remind us of that tragic day and what everyone was feeling that day, as well as Christina and Tony share what they were feeling at the time when they saw news about that horrifying act. Father Koys apologizes to all for the possible bad memories and feelings that arose and may reawaken from that day. He also shares a letter from an airline pilot about this as well, describing what was done on that day and how he expresses fear, worry, rage, and anger, as well as other feelings and questions too. Father Koys uses Thomas Jefferson’s speech from the past to help illustrate some of the feelings he is trying to share with this tragedy. A song is shared for today too, the Marine Anthem (or at least 30 second’s) and it’s shared/played because of September 11th, but also to express good feelings towards everyone today, as well as to pay tribute to our soldiers/troops. Also shared in reference to the Marine Song, one of the first wars the United States got involved with and also philosophy along these lines with this and today. After a serious, heavy hour for 9/11 today, final remarks are shared on 9/11 towards the end of the show.
