Father Anthony (still under the weather a bit being sick a bit) opens the show, with Christina, Gerri, and Tony on talking about Luke's Gospel from the reading this morning at mass before the show started today. "What is a Catholic?" is asked by someone and the answer given by someone is "Someone who likes cats," but is a bit more than that according to everyone, which still relates to the upcoming blessing of the animals coming up in October. The idea of family, previously discussed yesterday as well, is brought up again today in the opening of the show, which in turn relates to Jesus and his mother as well and the obligations in and of family. Father Anthony reminds us all about to have faith and that it's useful and helpful as well for us in our stress and distress. After the first break, the topic turns toward Russia and the countries latest developments in dealing with recent events and politicians. The discussion on this also continues on Catholic Beliefs and Russia with these beliefs as well as other things associated with Catholics and Christianity, resulting in an interesting world we live in Father Anthony points out. Father Anthony shares with us a article from a psychologist that he read, in regards to the recent interview with Pope Francis that has been talked about on the previous few shows. What is talked about relates to how we all have conflicts with things within us and dealing with these, but Pope Francis in his interview stated (and Father Anthony points out) how we communicate is a result of how we handle things.
