Father Thomas Koys is back again this week and along with Christina and Tony today at the studio. The subject today deals with many things, some that have to do with Father Koys favorite subject, History or to be more precise, American History with the Church. Father Koys talks about how some things are misinterpreted when looked at or heard in terms of the historical references he gives today, also in relation to the present time and that we are in a very different timer period, but it's important to go back and look at the beginning. The complications in life are brought up today as well, and that maybe we as a people/person perhaps make things overcomplicated maybe. Moments of history are shared throughout the show and as Father Koys says, "to find our place in history," is one of the reasons he talks about it and one issue discussed is Religious Freedom. Another fun fact is that New York was originally called New Amsterdam learned in this discussion and more history is shared After the second break, Father Koys continues his historical discussion of American History and by looking at it, helps determine how we got to where we are now and our place in the times too and the importance, this time with the original 13 Colonies in America and Baltimore in particular and it's relation to Catholics. During the final moments of the show, turns toward the recent interveiws and news on Pope Francis and Father Koys feels his words need to be looked at.
