Insight on Business the News Hour with Michael Libbie is heard live each Monday - Friday on 1350-KRNT, Des Moines.  But, we know you can't always listen on our time so we make this podcast available to you so you can check out our interviews on...your time.

Today we had the business news and information from the Des Moines Metro along with the interviews on this podcast.  First we have a discussion with the 85th president of the Iowa Jaycees. Tom Welchans of Atlantic is in town for a state-wide meeting of the Junior Chamber and we asked him to come by and tell us about this wonderful young persons leadership training organization. And, because Michael is a former president of the Iowa Jaycees he has a special place in his heart for the organization.

Then we visited with Robin Pruisner who is the state entomologist working for the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship. We asked Robin to share with us the facts behind the recent news release regarding the infestation alert for the Emerald Ash Borer and why you need to be concerned and what you can do about it.  Good stuff...

Then we visited with Chris Stonick about how our business can do a better job in recruiting and retaining employees. This is seriously good advice that you can put to work...tomorrow.  Chris Stonick and employee recruitment and retention.
