Insight on Business 14 October 2013

Insight on Business the News Hour with Michael Libbie is a production of our advertising agency, Insight Advertising, Marketing & Communications and focuses on news and interviews about the business community of the Des Moines, Iowa Metro.  We're live Monday - Friday from 5PM to 6PM on 1350-KRNT.  Because we know you can't always listen on "our time" we've created podcasts of the interviews so you can listen on "your time".

In this broadcast we hear from Mitch Matthews from Dream Big.  We talked about business coaching, public speaking and gave some tips on what you might consider if you find you are...stuck on an idea or a plan.  Then we visited with small business owner Sandy Taylor who, for 30 years has owned Plaza Florists in Urbandale.  We talked about online flowers, staying local, what works for her in advertising and a host of small business thoughts from the economy to keeping a customer.

At the end of the broadcast we offered up a marketing tip regarding direct mail.  Three things to remember when you do your next direct mail piece.
