Grandmother Power

Paola Gianturco is an award-winning photojournalist and author who has documented women's lives in 55 countries and had five books published, all of which are philanthropic projects:  she donates 100% of her author royalties to organizations that are working effectively on the issues in her books.  Her photographs have been shown at museums across the US (Grandmother Power is now at the Grand Rapids Public Museum in Michigan) as well as at the United Nations/New York and UNESCO/Paris.  Her photos have been published internationally in magazines such as Marie Claire/Greece and Taiwan---and Harpers Bazaar/Australia.
