Father Anthony is back here today, along with Gerry and Tony, Christina is absent due to training. Father Anthony talks a bit more on the funeral that happened recently and that Tony was there. Gerry doing ok and feeling good as usual for being in the Church this morning. Father Anthony is a bit under the weather because he is losing his voice, but today is the Memorial and Feast Day of Pope John Paul the Second, and that is talked about today, as well as being canonized as a Saint in 2014. On a very serious note, Father Anthony brings up the notition that Christians are being and have been killed lately since the year 2000 and brings up some very unusual and serious facts on this, including along the lines of abortion. After that, talk of John Paul The Second is shared, on what he has done, his words of inspiration, his work, where he has visited including Chicago, and history for all since today is a Memorial to him as well as Feast Day, which also relates to the killed Christian subject. "Watch for the signs of the times," Jesus said as Father Anthony points out that he said and relates to things going on today in society and what is being discussed today too on the show, the torturing and killing of Christians. After the second break, more on the history of Pope John Paul the Second is shared.
