Episode # 767 - Lincoln, Father Cyr, And Marriage With Father Koys

Father Koys is in studio once again today and opens the show with talking about Abraham Lincoln, Father Cyr  and history, which in turn relate to things and issues going on in our country today, along with Tony later on in the show.  Father Koys once again shares his latest historical discoveries, personal ones that he himself has discovered in his research.  He also brings up the idea of religious freedom and this comes up with the original 13 colonies in America's development/beginning.  After the first break, Father Koys brings up a bombshell that he promised, involving a Bishop that lives or lived in the Lemont area and what he recently said about Abraham Lincoln.  Is Catholicism an obstacle is a question that Father Koys also brings up off the subject of Abraham Lincoln this time.  Father Koys also brings up when he was on the phone recently on the show for the Springfield Veto Rally for gay marriages too, and Father Koys shares audio clips of people who spoke out during this discussion and decision in the definition of marriage and defending it as well.  Such as Father Cyr and Vice President Joe Biden and how he feels that everyone should have equal rights in terms of marriage and what is important is who you love.  Father Koys counters that with what he feels on this, with how some may not love their spouse or partner.  On a final note on this, the question raised during this as well is: "Is sex a part of marriage?"
