First up, it's the late Tom Clancy and his popular Jack Ryan series.  We're watching THE HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER, directed by John McTiernan and starring Alec Baldwin, Sean Connery, Scott Glenn, and Sam Neil.  After that, we take a look at the sequel, PATRIOT GAMES directed by Phillip Noyce and starring Harrison Ford, Sean Bean, James Earl Jones, and Anne Archer.
