Episode # 771 - The Invitation

Everyone is here on Tuesday for this official first week of November and things are going well for everyone.  Father Anthony makes references to a book titled, Rediscovering Catholicism and talks about it on the show today in relation to what is being talked about.  For one thing, the adventure of our faith is the first to discuss and reminds everyone that the doors of St Stanislaus Kostka Church are open 24/7 on this subject.  Father Anthony also points out the importance of prayer as well on the show and not only the importance of it, but why as well for all of us and the experience of joy felt when praying and going to mass.  Gerri points out another side that some might feel, besides those that feel good when going to mass, some may feel that going makes them say; "What am I doing here?" or "Why am I here?" or even "I'm bored."  After the second break, Father Anthony addresses that in getting the invitation for prayer or invitation to those who might not understand and get the invitation to celebrate with God.  Father Anthony also points out that even though we extend or have an extended invitation to pray and celebrate, we might not know the person who might be feeling bad or upset, but try to help and we are in friendship.
