Episode # 774 - Thrive And Survive

TGIF everyone and another weekend is upon us and everyone is "flying" in today with so much to do and so much happening this morning at St. Stanislaus Kostka, leaving the show almost with nothing to talk about.  But special guest Rosie is in again and joins us today.  Forecast for the weather predicts snow coming soon to the Chicago area.  Producer Nick is doing good today and as everyone is multitasking today, and good news Father Anthony informs us with a wedding this afternoon too.  Even though it's a crazy day, the theme of what has been discussed lately on Pope Francis and the Cardinals and the changing or status of the Church in terms of culture.  The Mystical Body is talked about today in terms of that, thriving or surviving in these times we face, leading to the question, "What is the Church?"   Father Anthony asks everyone, not just those in the studio, but listeners too asking "Can you believe God wants to see you?" as well as Jesus, leading also to how they can and what they do for us to help us, by knowing the truth is there.  Everyone has a story about this Father Anthony points out and shares, as well as Christina, Gerri, and Tony share stories where they went through something like this, reminding us God and Jesus is there to help us and save us too when or if we hit rock bottom.
