• 3:5 - Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
• 15:33 - The fear of the Lord is instruction in wisdom, and humility comes before honour.       
• 15:23 - To make an apt answer is a joy to a man, and a word in season, how good it is!           
• 20:1 - Wine is a mocker, strong drink a brawler, and whoever is led astray by it is not wise.   
• 20:7 - The righteous who walks in his integrity — blessed are his children after him!   
• 11:4 - Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.          
• Ephesians 5:15-16, 20-21 - Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, ... giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.
