Episode # 802 - The One

The boys are back today, Father Koys is once again in for Father Anthony Bush and today for all you science fiction fans, including Producer Nick, Father Koys talks about Christmas and brings up the science fiction blockbuster The Matrix along the lines of Christmas, being a resemblance or similarity to Jesus and Neo as The One, who will save the human race.  Father Koys also brings up the week of Advent going on as well, talking about St. John the Baptist.  Father Koys ties in The Matrix and Advent together and why these two play together, in terms of the prediction of the Messiah coming forth to save humanity, in The Matrix from machines, in reality from our sins.  Father Koys first shares with us a favorite reading of his, Matthew 11, in terms of Advent and what is going on too, as well as what is talked about on the show today, even the great Greek philosopher, Socrates.  To help understand the Christian ties/beliefs in The Matrix, several clips are heard to point those out, especially love.
