Episode # 812 - New Years Day 2014

Please note, due to it being New Years Day, New Years Eve's show will air on New Years Day and here is the podcast for that show again.  Remember, not to listen until after midnight for New Years Day.

Winter is here on this New Years Eve for 2013 leading into 2014 and that is the main focus to open the show today, in particular the fact that some people don’t have gloves on a expedition.  Producer Nick promises to bring some of his mother’s Christmas cookies for everyone, since Father Anthony is getting ready to go to Italy soon.  Resolutions are the major focus of the day today, since tomorrow is New Years Day and 2014 officially starts up.  Also today is the seventh day of Christmas, if you go by the song, Seven Swans Swimming, with the religious aspect being Seven Sacraments/Gifts of the Holy Spirit.  After hearing the promo for Father Anthony leaving us for Italy soon, he explains what he is going to be doing there besides relaxing there.  The Feast Of The Holy Mother Of God is today as well and further discussed by everyone, one idea being that we help each other out in any way we can and being there for each other.  Making choices is also shared along the lines of this topic of discussion, being born for that matter in relation to how Mary is the Mother Of God.  A final note, is what to look forward to in 2014.
