Happy New Year! The change of year is out with the old year (2013) and in with the new year (2014)! We like at this time of year not only looking forward to our plans being fulfilled in the new year but also remember back to those events and people in 2013 that affected and influenced us as well as being influenced and affected by us. But every day for the Christian is to be a day of remembering!  As Christians, we are in a battle - a spiritual battle! What does memory and remembering have to do with this battle? Here are some words of the Apostle Paul from Colossians 3:1-4...
 
1 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
As part of this Spiritual battle we are in, we Christians, sometimes  forget who we are and who we are to be! So what should we remember about ourselves, as Christians, if we are one?
