4th Anniversary of Supreme Court's Citizen United Ruling – how has it threatened our democracy and the pending McCutcheon case in the Court to expand Citizens United Liz Kennedy is the Counsel at Demos, a public policy organization dedicated to the promotion of democracy and equal fairness in our political and economic processes. Liz’s work focuses on money in politics and the increase of transparency, voting rights, and corporate accountability. Earlier she was an attorney in the Democracy Program at NYU School of Law, represented unions in labor democracy cases, and had served as the deputy director of voter protection for the 2008 Obama campaign in Ohio. Her writings have appeared in American Prospect, National Civic Review, Boston Herald, Huffington Post and other publications. She has a JD from NYU School of Law and the website is Demos.org
