Episode # 825 - Benedictine University Athletics

Today, due to Father Anthony still being away visiting Italy, today's specail guest host, we welcome back Mark Kurowski today and as a reminder, tune in this week for further guest hosts on the show.  On today's show, Mark s also joined by special guests Paul Nelson, Assistant Director of Athletics and Jessica Jelinek, Director of Athletic Marketing and Communications, both from as well as Mark, Benedictine University.  His guests both are in athletics there and talk about their departments and what has been going on not only in the administrative area of the Sports, but also athletes, teams and upcoming events such as the Hall Of Fame and the addition of Mens Volleyball this year, and events coming up in February and March.  Also they share the experiences students and staff have with the sports offered in the school, as well as events and other sport events outside of Benedictine University, such as Chicago sports teams games.  Paul and Jessica also share with Mark some of their historical backgrounds with Benedictine Sports, such as when they started and how they got to where they are now.  Also, the differences between men's and women's sports is shared and discussed further, such as the differences between Baseball and Softball, not only in terms of play, but how long a game goes, as well as other sports.  For more information on the sports teams, athletic departments, and upcoming events revolving around Benedictine University Athletics, as well as on Paul Nelson, Jessica Jelinek, and Mark Kurowski, log on to: http://www.ben.edu.
