Does everything happen for a reason?

No. 

Sometimes things just happen.

Granted, most things are subject to cause and effect, but not everything.

Sometimes you just have to play the hand that was dealt you instead of spending your time trying to figure out why the cards you were given were so bad.

Even if you could find out why your hand is so bad, it won’t change anything.

You still have to play the hand you are dealt.

Looking for the reasons why something bad happens is avoidance behavior.

It’s a way to avoid dealing with reality in the hopes that if you can find the cause of your unpleasant reality, you could change it and not have to deal with it.

But life isn’t fair.

And regardless of how unfair life is treating you, you, there is no magic power you can appeal to, to change your hand.

So grow up and get on with playing the hand you are dealt and stop whining so much.
