As the title says, Father Anthony has returned from his trip to Italy and tells us all about it, even though it's a very, very cold day in Chicago today, but the warm feeling of having Father Anthony helps brighten up the day. Father Anthony thanks all his guest hosts for filling in during his absence, but Father Anthony feels a bit refreshed, but still dealing with jet lag and the bitter cold outside too. After everyone talks about how they are doing, Father Anthony goes into further detail of his trip to Italy this year, in particaular, walking the streets of Rome, or as he says, "Roaming Rome." He also shares who he saw, Pope Francis, as well as the sites over there and how exciting it was and giving him a good feeling all around during his trip, as well as the food served over there and especially his personal, up close encounter with the Pope himself during one of his walks there. Father Anthony also shares how the retreat he took is a very important thing to do, not just for Father Anthony with his recent trip, but for all to do, feeling the same way with going on retreats/vacations/trips when dealing with work, stress, and rough times, but especially enjoying what you do, like Producer Nick, and Father Anthony enjoys life and his life, in knowing he likes his work, as well as God is with him and us all. Father Anthony also talks more about what he took or got out of his retreat to Italy, which he considers not really a vacation, but a retreat having encounters with the people and animals too, cause Father Anthony witnessed a blessing of the animals while he was there, with animals of all kinds, from dogs, to pigs and horses. One thing that Father Anthony took from this experience, was he never knew how it felt to be under the dominion, of God and The Lord in your life, leading you down right/good paths. Father Anthony also points out that even though God is all powerful, he hasn't the power to love us, putting the idea in everyone's head as the last thought of the day, that God loves you and cannot not love you in anyway, no matter how hurt, devastated, rejected, depressed, abandoned, or stressed you are.
