Father Thomas Koys is in studio again today, joined by special guests, school children Lucy, Lucia, and school mother Mayra today, in honor of this week being Catholic Schools Week for children. We are also joined by over the phone Father Bob from their school, Pope John Paul The Second Catholic School. Since this is Catholic Schools Week, Father Thomas goes into the discussion about school, as well as the teacher/student relationship, grades: both letter grades and numerical, and other aspects of school. Both Lucy and Lucia share their opinions, being students themselves and the girls also talk about their recent two days off dealing with the Polar Vortex that struck Chicago again this week this winter. Also, you could say that they and we listeners get a history lesson from Father Thomas Koys too. School mother Mayra shares her opinion on some things in the school as well. Father Koys also has the girls answer questions on the Church and Confession as well. Later on in the show, Father Bob comes back on and with an entire class at Pope John Paul The Second School says hello and talks about education and school. Towards to the end of the show, Father Bob has the classmates of Lucy and Lucille sing a lovely song promised for all of us, as well as joined by a fourth guest on the air, The Principle Of Pope John Paul The Second School, Moira Benton, who shares with us upcoming events and projects going on at and for the school. On final notes, Father Koys brings up future topics, related to education and what was discussed with the girls today.
