Episode # 837 - Trust In God And Not Defeated

On this Thursday, everyone is kind of in ups and downs today.  First, Producer Nick dealing with personal stress and Father Anthony offers prayers for him as well as others in that everything will be alright.  Also, he is joined by only Gerri, even though Producer Nick is here.  Christina is in Mexico, escaping the cold in Chicago, and Father Anthony's good deed shared today is that he shoveled the snow, as did Producer Nick yesterday.  Father Anthony also shares in the beginning of show a story in Japan. As Father Anthony shares the story, Tony joins us today too, but a pretty grusome story about what was done to Christians and Martyrs, and also relates to his trip to Rome again and feels that he's tripping over his words today, but shares more on eyewitness accounts of these Martyrs.  The subject changes with the Pope talking about death and other topics, how we are on a journey and on the way in life, but that we live in our lives.  After the second break, Father Anthony continues the talk on Pope Francis and things said and done.  Father Anthony shares several points Pope Francis shares, which in turn relates to what everyone is going through, relating to the story of David, as well as since we are all on a journey here on Earth and in the end, it's really not the end because when we pass on, we have our family to look forward too, as well as others and hopefully that we leave a good, perhaps great legacy here on Earth and even though we feel it at times, we are not defeated.
