Across the Universe

The movie Across the Universe by Julie Taymor is about a guy, named Jude. Jude takes a trip to the USA to find his father, in New Jersey. In the mean time, he falls for an American teenage girl, Lucy. He then discovers that Lucy's older brother Max has to fight in the Vietnam War. Lucy and Jude decide to become involved in a Peace movement. The movie is based in the 1960's during the Revolution, Jude was a poor Liverpudlian artist, and Lucy was just another upper-class teenage girl.
