The Lord asks the children of Israel to give him a Terumah offering so that the tabernacle can be built. The Terumah offering is only for those whose hearts are willing to give generously of the best they have, and according to very specific instructions. Rabbi David speaks about God's confidence in the Jewish people, and how today we can also lift our hearts up to God in willing service.
