- 6:11-14a - Persevere in seeking the fruits of godliness
- 6:14b - 16 - For Christ's glory until He returns
- Generosity with wealth
- 6:17-19 - encourage those who are rich to be generous, placing their hope in Christ, not their wealth
- Stay true
- 6:20 - guard the deposit, don't be drawn into controversy
- 6:21 - Grace (God's free gift) be with you
