Humble courage

This Palm Sunday, Pastor Barbara Moyer Lehman reflected on the passage from Mark 11:1-11, commonly referred to as Jesus' triumphal entry. But this was not so much a road to coronation as it was a funeral march. Jesus knew the path he was on would lead to his death, yet he chose this road of humility, self-sacrifice, and radical love. This was a model of leadership not valued in the world then or now. But we are to use Jesus as our example, to have the same mind as was in Christ Jesus. Can we choose this road less-traveled?
