Meet Mrs. Hendry

Here is a little about me...I live with my husband, Dave (also known as Hollywood on WINK104) and my two cats (Ziggy and Marley) in Lancaster City. I grew up in New Jersey and moved to this area to attend Elizabethtown College. I have taught first and third grades, been a technology coach for teachers and have been a middle school librarian. I have many hobbies including gardening, listening to music, hiking and anything outdoors! I love nature, animals and, yes, of course, books! An interesting fact about me is that when I was in middle school, I didn't like reading or books. I believe that I had some form of a disability. Over the years, I have overcome it with the help of some very supportive teachers. I believe this: If you don't like reading, it is because you haven't found the right books for you. Once you find something that fits you, you can open your mind up to so much more! See me if you need some help finding the perfect book to get you started!
