Who Owns Palestine?

Pick up a newspaper or turn on the TV. Bible lands are in the news every day.  The world's eyes are on the Middle East.  There is continual contention and conflict that still exists to this day that dates back to the oldest family feud in history.  Who really owns Palestine?  Many nations have possessed the land, and many nations have tried to annihilate the Jews.  Yet, God has preserved the Jewish nation and their unique identity.  Why?  What does the Bible reveal about this special land and people of promise?
