Students read about the emerging tensions in the American colonies prior to the American Revolution. Then they composed poems and raps and performed them. Some of the themes include overcrowding and westward expansion, conflicts with Native Americans and French settlers, and the Great Awakening. VERY entertaining. Who know I had such talented kids!?
