Market Close 2 Jun 22: Aussie market wipes out Wednesday’s lift

The Australian sharemarket fell by 0.8%, easily wiping out Wednesday's gains with nine of 11 sectors finishing in the red. Energy stocks rose most as Woodside completed its merger with BHP's petroleum business and Bubs Australia rose as it moves forward with emergency formula deliveries to the US.
